Upgrade issues

I have Movie Studio 4 and have been using it for a year or so now. I have been using Creative Wavestudio to edit my wav files. I have installed version 6 but when I tried to use it I couldnt edit using Creative WaveStudio . I still have Studio 4 installed because I was working on a project and now Im afraid to uninstall it before I get the fix on Version 6. Any suggestions?

I'm looking at the full version of Vegas now, so i don't know if Vegas Studio has this option ... but, check this ... Options / Preferences / Audio / Preferred audio editor. You can click the [Browse] button to select the WaveStudio .exe file. After that WaveStudio should be the default audio editor from within Vegas.
