Upgrade Ligos LSX-MPEG Plug-in?

Ligos has an upgrade for their LSX-MPEG encoder from version 3.0 to 3.5 available on their website for both the Adobe Premiere Plugin and the stand-alone encoder. I am willing to pay the upgrade fee if needed but I need to know:

What version is the Ligos MPEG plug-in is provided at the SF Updates download link? How would I see what version is on my machine? Will the Adobe plug-in work in Vegas Video? If that isn't enough questions, then Why did they change the taste of Coke and then change it back again?

We do not have an SF certified update for the Ligos encoder available at this time.

Is this a Vegas Video only thing or would it be applicable to the Video track in Vegas Audio?

Vegas Audio does not ship with the MPEG plug-in.

I know, and the website won't accept my VA Serial Number to download it.

Is this a correct state of affairs? If so is there a particular reason why VA users are not entitled?

The MPEG plug-in can be used with Vegas Audio, but you must purchase the license to use it. The MPEG plug-in is included with Vegas Video. The MPEG plug-in is $19.95 and can be ordered by calling 1-800-577-6642.

Hmm this is not a free or cheap call for those of us who live outside the States. Can't we have the facility to download it sometime?

Thanks
