Upgrade path from Movie Studio Platinum to Pro?

Hi folks, I bought Movie Studio Platinum 9, years ago and until recently it was sufficient. I upgraded to 14 thinking that that was the top of the line; but functions mentioned in online videos failed to appear in my copy of what I thought was the pro version. Some research later I learned that there were 2 video streams and a whole host of associated programs I had never heard of. Now it appears that Sony doesn't own it any more - rather someone called Magix - okay. I didn't know any of this when i upgraded and if I had I would have chosen Pro. So is there an upgrade path that will not cost me an arm and a leg to go from whoa to Pro? Also the replacement audio programs bundled with MS are nice toys but leave a lot to be desired after using even an ancient version of SoundForge. Thanks
