Hi, I'm a college student new to Vegas Studio and I'm planning to upgrade to pro at the end of the year, but I don't understand the price difference. If I get everything in platinum but only two new things in suite why is it 79.99? I'm paying for effects nothing else and another thing why do plugins require Boris Sapphire? I thought Vegas would be a little more professional like Premiere Pro with transitions and effects built-in. I guess I shouldn't compare the two, but it feels like I'm getting nothing from staying with the Movie Studio version. I'm forced to upgrade to make the content I want to create and pay for third-party software.
