I am purchasing vegas pro and would like to know what the
upgrade price will be...or will there be an upgrade price?
Plenty of talk but I will remind you alot of companies do
not charge for updates to their software.I love the Sonic
foundry world, just please understand where we are coming
from when we folks who are using your product day in and
day out in our studios for paying clients, ask you for a
break on the updates. Our customers are also your next
customers. Our studio prescribes the software to our
clients; This would be VEGAS,and then we end up producing
and mixing for them.We get more biz for you guys.Any
updates should be free or darnnnnnnn cheap.
I am sorry for being a grump, but I really enjoy the
products and wish to prescribe them to all I come in
contact with. For me to do this I should not be grumping
over the extra dough I have not got from the add agency
guys;checks in the mail.Or the A&R heads.Check?ooohhhh
that....

I will still be a customer through thick and thin,so keep
up the good work and maybe start a new forum for registered
users only eh?;)

Hey David. There is an answer to this on the FAQ about Vegas on their
website. I believe the upgrade price for owners of Vegas 1.0 to Vegas
Audio 2.0 is $99 and from 1.0 to Vegas Video is $199.
Maybe there'll be a free upgrade for those who bought after a certain
date?

I don't know...
