The only stumbling block I have w/ Vegas is when it comes to transitions.
In Video Factory there was a play button inside the transition (and Video FX) screen. This way you could throw a transition onto the timeline and click the play button inside the transition window and see how it looked- all cued up- no tinkering to get the cursor in the right spot on the timeline, no double clicking to get the repeat section to hightlight the transition.
FYI: I use a floating window for transitions and video FX in order to have a full pane showing all of the variables. I have this on the left side of my screen, usually over top my timeline/play button area. This lets me see the preview on the preview screen.
Is this quick preview just not in Vegas? Please offer some help in figuring this out, or some suggestions. Thanks.
