Upgraded to MS 4.0 - problem with Print to Tape

I recently upgraded from Screenblast 3.0 to Movie Studio 4.0. When I try to print an edited .avi file back to DV tape in my camcorder, it seems like periodically a bunch of frames get dropped for some reason. I've tried it several times with the same result, but the glitch doesn't show up in the same place in the video every time. Anyone else run into this?

What version of Windows are you running? Have you installed SP2? How fast is your computer and how much memory do you have? Do you have a second hard drive dedicated to video?

Also, if you're using XP, can you output successfully from MovieMaker?

Can you use MS3 to ptt with the avi in question? I don't ptt, but I seem to remember you have to render in the right format - could you have used the wrong template by mistake?
