My last SVMS was Platinum 8.

I upgraded (not thru Sony) to a cheap, OEM style, Pro 8 .. and then (thru Sony) to Pro 9.

As a Vegas Pro user since Version 2, I can make a case for VMS 10 being arguably the best bargain on the planet right now. With more tracks, more custom options, stabilizer, etc., unless you need the more advanced stuff like scripting and 3D, you'll find most of what you need in VMS 10.

Yes, I'm also going to test drive Vegas Pro 10, but my "upgrade" choice from Vegas Pro 8 might very well be to VMS 10 for $65, because of the value added features. I'll keep my Vegas and DVDA pro versions, of course.

I am also considering upgrading to VMS10 (from VMS6). Where can you get VMS10 for $6? (I assume from Amazon.com...but is it actually the same product as buying from Sony?....does it include DVDA5?).

Thanks,

If you meant $65, it is the standard upgrade price from Sony.
