Upgrading from Edit 365 to Pro 365

I'm not sure what topic I should be using, so I apologize in advance if I did it wrong.

I've got about 4 months left on my Edit 365 subscription, but I'm looking at upgrading to the Pro subscription, and it's really hard to tell when the best time to do that is. If I do it now, am I 'wasting' 4 months? Or can I sort of prorate what I've already paid for?

And unrelated question, but I was under the impression I needed to have Post 365 to do Speech to Text and vice versa, but I saw it in the Pro features. Can someone confirm if those are in Pro?

Re Speech-to-text and vv, the following Vegas comparison webpage outlines what comes with each version:

There, you will see that Speech-to-text and vv comes with the 365 subscription versions of both Vegas Pro and Vegas POST but not at all with Vegas Edit.
