It's your choice but you save a few dollars (US$187 vs. US$199) by getting the download version.
Special pricing is available until May 31.
Details are in the current newsletter.

Are you saying that if I buy the download upgrade it will work even if I have the package version 6.0?

There is no difference between boxed or download version, just the box! ;)
Software is the same: in the boxed version you'll find the serial code inside, with download version you'll receive it by mail (double check to avoid mistake).

Also, it's been my experience that the boxed one usually is not the most current version and you need to download the update anyway.

the ONLY difference between the "box" & not is that the box has the SN you need to use the software IN the manual. The download doesn't, it's in your account. So you buy the box, you can't use it until the box arrives. You buy the download, you can use it right away.

With both you can still download everything that's included & with the download you can spend the extra $$ to get everything on disc, which, not by coincidence I'm sure, is the exact same price as if you got the box.

I'd say get the download with the boxed stuff. Then you have a physical book to look @ the new features & read over them vs just the online help.

Then you have a physical book to look @...

Are you sure about that?
I got a real manual for Vegas 5 & DVDA 2 but haven't seen one since.
AFAIK, it's strictly PDF these days.
