Upgrading from VF to Vegas

Is there any benefit to having both VF and Vegas on your PC just taking up HD space?
Is it advisable to uninstall VF before installing Vegas?
I searched the forum for an answer to this but couldn't find one, so please excuse if this has already been covered in an earlier posting.

I don't see any advantage to having both installed at one time, unless you are like Chien and going to be a tech support guru and you need to walk folks through the keystrokes of both.

I've had Vegas since version 3 was released last fall. The ONLY thing i've used Video Factory for since then was to answer questions in this forum.

If you're new to the programs, VideoFactory 2 has the nice "Show Me" tutorials.
