Upgrading issue

I noticed that if I wanted to upgrade VF to Vegas 3, I have to enter my serial number. If I'm ordering the Download/Box version will I have to re enter my serial number again and again every time I install it?

Every time you install Vegas, you'll have to enter the Vegas serial #. The VF # requirement on the website is your VF "proof of purchase" (so you can qualify for the upgrade deal).
