upgrading question from Movie Studio to VP edit 12

Hi everyone, newbie question here. I have Movie studio 12 like it alot. But to avoid VP13 I had to purchase VP12Pro "edit" from Amazon. It's not an upgrade it's the full deal. I am afraid to install it as it might take over and delete everything I've got going currently in Movie Studio 12.
Can someone tell me if it will "integrate" or "wipe out" everything having to do with Movie Studio previous install when I install VP12 Pro edit version?

Not sure why you would want to avoid VP13, but I also had Movie studio 12 and purchased VP12 and for a while I had both installed at the same time. I had no problems.

If my memory serves me, some things were shared between the two. Such as render templates and OFX plug-ins.

I don't know if this still applies but at that time Titler Pro EX which MS12 comes with did not like a concurrent install with Titler Pro 1.0 which VP12 comes with. VP12 edit may not have Titler Pro 1 bundled so it may be a moot point.
