Upgrading to V6 and transfering old serial number

In prior releases of Vegas it was possible to upgrade to a new version and then the old serial number could be transfered to another person.

Does this applies for upgrading to Vegas 6?

I don't think it is transferable - nor was. At least that's how it would seem to me.

Actually you can do that. The only catch is if you sell for example your Vegas 5 license, the new owner cannot upgrade that license to Vegas 6.

You could start to see a few on ebay quickly if that is the case.
