Upload to YouTube straight from Vegas 12 timeline

I have a 2 minute project and want to upload to straight to YouTube from the timeline. I keep getting a "failed to login to YouYube" error yet I've logged on in the background with same username and password.

Has anyone ever successfully used this feature? Vegas promises that it'll only be 18MB instead of 180MB.

Make sure you use your GMail address to login to YouTube (yourname@gmail.com)
If that doesn't work, try this free extension: Video4YouTube

Using V12 ... Never tried this feature before .. but I tried a little 30 second test .. worked fine. Did not even save the project veg .. YOu must have some issue signing on to YouTube.

I used 1080 material but I used the "low" quality (smaller upload file) and it gave me 480P on YouTube.
This could only be useful for people in some sort of production flow that involves uploading thing immediately to YouTube ..

It does render the file to the default "rendered media path" as an MP4 .. not sure what Render template settings it uses for the render ..

The upload button stays ghosted for me no matter what I try...

Update: ALL of the fields have to contain something -- even the Tags -- before the upload button becomes active. One thing I did find out. You now are required to have a Google+ account / profile before you can have a YouTube account. Even if you don't want one.
