Everything web sites upgrade their APIs/code, the clients stop working. The only solid way to not get into such problems again is to render a file out, and then go manually to youtube via a browser, and upload it from there.
I figured that was the issue. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something on my end wrong.
Somehow, all my vids got deleted off of youtube...and I couldn't upload anything to youtube. So freaking weird...maybe I need to change the file name, but that doesnt' explain the deletion of my vids. :P
I just came across this having found similar problems - although I thought mine was to do with forgetting the password. Even though I have reset this, I keep getting told that the account is locked and google is asking for a captcha submission.
Just wondered if you could point me in the right direction to choose my own settings for rendering my video and uploading via browser - I've only ever done it via the 'make movie' button. Mainly through laziness, I might add, but also because I thought that that was the safest way to do it.
Are Sony likely to be updating to use oAuth type methods of accessing remote accounts, as this seems to be the way all the others are going now ?
