I originally posted this on the Magix forum.
I submitted a ticket to Magix l think on Sunday 30 November 2025, because throughout the weekend I had been trying to upgrade / crossgrade to from ACID Pro 7 to the full Vegas Pro 23 Studio suite.
The ticket went to Magix by default l think, not through my own choosing. But now it appears it should have gone to Vegas not Magix?
My ACID Pro 7 serial, repeatedly input, with and without hyphens, was being rejected - despite being already registered on my account.
The product l purchased is a genuine product and l've had it for years. It seems that the upgrade route is not being honored? Is it just a cyber week thing?
With the week of discounts now drawing to a close, and the projected timeframe of a few days for a response now passed, I worry that I shall miss the window of opportunity to upgrade at Cyber week's prices.
Please can somebody from only the Vegas / Magix team advise me? Apologies but I don't want to make this into a user-to-user discussion.
