URGENT: rendering problem

Lately i've been encountering strange problems rendering any kind of avi file.

A screen grab is here. Similar is with video. I know it can't be Vegas' problem as the screengram comes from Uncompressed Avi from AFter Effects. Yet similar results happen when i try to render to video. The farmes jump here and teher with parts of the image obsued or destroyed. A few days back i got a virus that (i think) was detected in time... I'm just woried that my antyvirus software might have done something to the codec (?). Anyone knows of any solutions?

I doubt that's a codec problem as much as a corrupted render problem. Anything running in the background of the system during rendering? That's often a problem, particularly antivirus software.

BTW, the virus was just a simple trojan horse (Spyware) that changes StartPage of Internet Explorer.

Turned off Anty Virus software and results are similar. Random render 's here:

I did a simple render to a QT file and there was no problem tehre so it seems that whatever render to AVI file is corrupted. (I think) anyone knows how to fix it?
