USB Flash Drive

I just finished a project and renered it and burned it to DVD.
Now I want to save it to a USB flash drive, just to get it off my hard drive.
I want to keep it if I want to put it back on my hard drive to do some editing.
I try to save it to the USB drive and I can't.
Is there something I have to do to the USB drive before I can save my project to it?

Do you want to save your prepared DVD to the flash drive or the Vegas project + assets?

It is highly unlikely the latter will fit.

Create a new folder.
Save your project with "copy media with project" checked.
See how large the folder is. Will it fit on your usb drive?

Had lots of room for the project but kept getting an error message that the device was full. I knew it wasn't full, I never used it.
So I formatted the USB drive and then I was able to save it.
