Use Vegas Chapters in Arch

I know I have seen it some place but can't find it now that I need it.

I put chapter markers in the project in Vegas pro 12 so they can become the DVD chapters.

In Arch, I select menu based, drag the m2t into where it says Menu 1 on the preview screen in Arch, double click on the clip and can then see the entire movie in the timeline, but don't see my chapters.

Do I have to put them each in manually? (bummer)

Thanks!

Jaums

Chapter markers created in VegasPro timeline - should have names assigned to them, not numbers, then export with the setting in render 'include chapter markers'.

When you open the timline in DVDA, do you see the markers?

Did you have the "include markers" option set before you rendered your video? It should generate a file with the same name as the video plus a .sfl extension. Make sure both files are in the same folder and do not rename them.

EDIT

I originally said sfk instead of sfl.

That did it! When I dragged the 2 files into the project, the m2t and the sfk, then double clicked it, it opened in the timeline WITH the markers and names I had created in Vegas.

Thanks!!!!

So glad that you are glad.

Sorry, I meant sfl, not sfk. The latter is the so called "peak" file that is used to display the audio waveform.
