Really, I don't understand your question.

I assume you are referring to Sony Movie Studio 12, since you are posting in the Movie Studio Forum.

I also assume you are talking about the Project Media, Explorer, Transitions, etc. Tabs in the top left quadrant of the display. I don't have Movie Studio 11 installed any more, but as far as I can remember, the user interface of MS 11 and 12 are identical, and that you can move and "dock" any of these tabs anywhere you like by grabbing the "handle" of the tab and moving it around. Then, you can save your setup and recall it at any time.

For instance, I always "dock" the trimmer window in the same location as the Video Preview window. That way I can switch between Trim/Preview with a simple click. I do that since I really never want to see both Trim and Preview at the same time, yet I want instant access to the Trim window when I want it.

But, of course, you might work very differently.

So, if you are talking about some different "tabs" then I think you need to give us some more information and possibly a link to the You Tube video you are referring to.
