You "should" also be able to do the conversion in Format Factory.
Might be an easier learning curve than Super.

Rename to 3GP, MP4 or MOV and see if that works. Quicktime can decode these h.263 files you see.

.3g2 files usually open in Quicktime with or without renaming.
That alone does the original poster little good unless he has QT Pro, since the files (from my phones anyway) need to be transcoded to open for editing in Vegas.

The .3g2 files from either of my CDMA phones (LG and Samsung) are not encoded h.263, but with some Part 2 variant.
However, if they were encoded h.263, they would "probably" open in Vegas.
