Using a TV for previewing??

I currently use my TV to preview rendered movies by using firewire to my DV camcorder (Canon GL1 & GL2) as a converter. I am using SB Movie 3a build 100. Is it possible to preview the timeline on the TV with this setup or am I restricted to the preview on the SB interface? Any ideas or suggestion greatly appreciated. GREAT FORUM!

I'm looking at 3.0b right now and it looks like this feature is absent. Vegas has it, but that doesn't really help you much.

Thanks Chienworks for the fast reply. I am not surprised that this option does not exist in MS but thought I would ask to be sure. I guess it's time to move up to Vegas. When I browse the Vegas forum its appears they are talking a different language there--hope I'm ready for it.
