I'm a new Vegas user who has a legacy library of Canopus DV files. I've noticed that while previewing files from within Vegas, the Canopus files look deinterlaced whereas the files I've captured with Vegas look normal.

Hence my question: is it kosher to use Canopus DV codec files in Vegas? Or am I better off recapturing my source media in Vegas?
