Using Media FX - Not working correcctly

With all the other problems having been taken care of, now I find tat when I try to use any of the Media FX items it will only work on one side of the screen.

Can anyone offer a suggestion.

Example would be when attempting to brighten the video, only the right side works and not the left.

on video preview you have right side selected, can change it to left or can change it to all. just click on the screen icon

Maybe you have turned on "splitscreen". The 4. button from left above preview.
