In Vegas 15, when I copy a short video that I'm overlaying at certain points, any pan/crop changes I make after pasting affects the *original* clip, not the one I just pasted. How do I tell the pan/crop tool to correctly associate with pasted clips? This does not happen in Vegas 12 with the same media.Thanks.
In VP15 you can now Set which items you wish to PEA.
I'm a n00b to Vegas, could you explain HOW to set these things.. and what is PEA?
Edit: I think I figured out what PEA is.. you mean Paste Event Attributes? If so, this is not the issue, I've tried every iteration of check boxes with this and no success... What appears to be happening is when I paste, the event is not created new, but as a link to the original.

You may be confusing paste event attributes with copying a generated media event. If you copy generated media, you may chose to copy it as "new" or as "referenced" to the original (meaning if you change the original it changes all the referenced copies). Otherwise, I don't believe that pasting event attributes will behave as you describe. Are you dealing with generated media? Titles?
