USING RW DISKS WITH DVDA 5.0

I just burned a DVD using a RW DVD disk on DVDA 5.0. The disk WILL NOT PLAY ON ANY OF MY DVD PLAYERS. It would play in my PC's (one on XP and this one on Win.7).

What other step do I need to run to make it playable on the actual dvd players? Do I have to run some kind of finalizing procedure first? I really don't want to waste my DVD-Read Only disks for just testing playbacks.

Never mind. I did a full erase on the RW disk and re-burned my test video. It played on 2 out of 3 dvd players and all of the computers. So I can still run my tests without burning a lot of "coasters" using the read only disks, which plays on all of the dvd players.

Verbatim DVD RW burned in Architect 5 plays fine on all of my players (5 in all).

I always use DVD RW disks for checking out my projects and they always play. I don't use DVDAS to burn them though, it doesn't verify. I use third party burning software.

Using DVDA5, I always verify my projects work on VERBATIM DVD RWs. Works everytime. I burn at 4x.

Grazie

Update: I no longer burn RW to preview my projects.
I send the files over the network to my WDTV Live and play them that way. Very handy.
