using sound effects

I downloaded some of the sound effect files from the Sony web site. I can open them up by clicking on them (which brings up Sound Forge). How do I access them using Vegas and where do I put them to make them easily accessible? Right now I just have them in a download file folder.

Open a new Vegas session and just drag a file into it.

You can store them anywhere that makes sense to your personal workflow.

Thanks for the response. At first they weren't showing up in the location I had them. Then I realized that they were in zip files, so I just opened up the zip file and copied those files to another location. Thanks again.
