using sound forge6e with vegas4c

built project with sound captured in 30 min lengths. but before splitting em, decided to noise reduce audio in sound forge before splitting (subclipping). I go 'copy to sound forge' and discover that my regions (lots of em) are declared 'illegal' in sound forge and stripped when processed in sound forge. Now here's the cold bowl of chili part--- after a 30 min render (shuttleXPC, 3.06Ghz, 1Gig RAM) the program fails, says disc is either too full or I don't have access to.. When I open Vegas again-- the original clip I sent is stripped of its regions and unprocessed.... (My temp files and the final file are going to a pristine, unfragged, 80 gig external firewire drive. hmmmmm.

Upon repeat--From then on I get a low memory error in Vegas, even after I re-assign regions, subclipped and tried to take in the smaller bits as 'copy to sound forge'. In fact, now, I just get-- ' an exception has occurred and Vegas crashes...'

help....
