using Vegas 8 with Vista 64

Is anyone using Vegas with Vista 64? If so, how is it working? I'm thinking about getting a new computer and I want more RAM and power.

I'm using it with Vista64 Ultimate and so far have seen no issues.

I had a few intial issues on setup, mainly having to do with having too many or too few threads (I think) -- nothing that wasn't sorted out within a few hours of installation. Have had no problems since that could be traced specifically to Vista 64. Note: the system I purchased did come preloaded with Vista SP1, so I suspect I dodged a lot of horror stories you might see about Vista when it was first (prematurely?) released?

OK, I just got in my new Q9450 Vista 64 system. It is updating itself and I want to get the system cleaned and ready for V8 before I install it. So I remember seeing a recommendation on a site to turn off all the junk stuff in Vista. I have never used Vista so I need some guidance on making my machine Vegas ready before I install it. Any thoughts or directions are appreciated. Thanks

thanks John and yes that was the artilcle I had seen. Question, can that article be downloaded? Not easy to just go through it online one page at a time.
