using vegas and acid together

I would like to play back from vegas and acid simultaneously, and, obviouisly in sync. Is this possible? I can run each app on a different pc if necessary, but would prefer them to be on the same box.

If someone knows how to do this please advise. If I do this from one pc, will I need a sound card with 4 or more outputs (one stereo pair for each app) or will my LynxeOne and it's 2 outs suffice?

So, it sounds like I can run Acid and Vegas on the same machine and have them playback in sync(no boyband allusion intended). I only have 2 analog outs on my LynxeOne sound card. Can I still do this or do I need a pair of outs for each app?

Also, what about mixdown. Can I pipe the audio from Acid to Vegas and 'mux' it all into one stereo pair?
