What is the process to grade Panasonic V-Log footage in Vegas 20. I know in Resolve you need to be in Davinci YRGB Managed Mode then put the Color space into V-Log
There are a few different workflows. You could try ACES by switching the project to 32-bit full with view transform set to sRGB. Then set the color space (right click on the media and go to properties) to Vlog/vgamut.
Alternatively you can use a vlog to rec709 conversion in the color grading panel in 32-bit full mode with ACES off (view transform off) or 8-bit full mode. (If 32-bit full performance isn't good enough edit in 8-bit full and switch to 32-bit full gamma 2.2 view transform off before rendering).
Or you can use a conversion LUT from Panasonic or another source . I recommend https://www.leeminglutpro.com/ which I've used with Cinelike D and Sony slog and cine2 footage.
