V.V. manual from enovel

Has anyone outside the USA purchased the V.V. manual from enovel using paypal,i've seen quite a number of negative reports about paypal which makes me wary of using it.

I had been exchangeing e-mails with a Nancy Workman-Luter from customer support at SF about the lack of response from enovel which was resolved,a secure site for International customers at enovel was supposed to be up and running in a week that was the info in a e-mail sent from enovel on the 6/18/02,still no sign of it.

I've downloaded the PDF manual but it's not like having your own hard copy.

I don't think it's worth it. When you first get a program it's nice to be able to read the manual through, and I did, but after that the pdf is much more useful as it can be searched quickly.

I simply used FinePrint (http://www.fineprint.com/) to print it real small on both sides of the paper. Had to use my reading glasses but only had to read it once.

Thanks for the reply but i do prefer a hard copy when it comes to manuals.I can only presume that Nancy Workman-Luter from customer support at SF is on holiday as no response yet.

I'm beginning to feel as if SF don't hold International customers as important as home based ones otherwise why pass on the business of selling manuals to enovel who can't or won't cater for International customers. Prehaps Amazon would have been a better bet.

Following another e-mail to Nancy Workman-Luter just to confirm that my original had arrived, i received a reply that the matter was still being followed up.

I received confirmation yesterday that enovel can now accept International orders and at long last my manual is on its way.

I'm a new VV3 user and i've found that the training workbook is better. It also comes with some bundled software. The lessons are excellent and really helped me learn VV3. http://www.sonicfoundry.com/Products/NewShowProduct.asp?PID=684
