I copied a full folder that I edited on my machine onto a friend's laptop.
Both my friend and I are running Vegas 64 bit build 701.
The project has a lot of sound effects from my sound effect library on my main editing machine, which I left offline when opening the project on the laptop.
Now, in the preview, and even in the render, there are strange BEEPING noises coming from the project. These are normal wav files attached to video.
If I open a project on the laptop, and import video without re-opening a project, there are no beeps.
Anyone know what this is about?
