Not only was the new video stabilization in Vegas Pro 11 a real glitch in the workflow thanks to the fact that it doesn't create subclips anymore and you can only stabilize entire videos, but now I've found out that even when I try to make it work on a simplest possible project, it just doesn't work.
Seriously, what is wrong with Sony's software coders these days???? I ran a test with a 2-minute MP4 HD video (that was even shot with a Sony HD Blogger!). Did the test in an empty project with no other plugins than the stabilizer and IT CRASHES EVERY SINGLE TIME. I've tried around 10 times so far.
I even disabled all GPU assistance etc. just to be sure. I have all the latest drivers to my video card and I'm running Windows 7 64-bit SP1 on a powerful 8GB + i7 Core machine.
What a rip-off and a shame!
