V12 Crash on start up

Jazzman54 wrote on 10/2/2012, 11:26 AM
I took the plunge and downloaded V12. It will not start at all- it gets to 'Initialising Direct-X plug-ins' then stops with the problem report screen. Have I missed something obvious? If my drivers are old (and they probably are) it should at least start up with perhaps reduced performance, no? Anyone else had this issue?
Thanks, Ian

Update, V11 now also stops at the same place on start-up.
Have uninstalled V12 and restored back to a good date.
V11 is now working, and I am about to start loading the new Sony software one at a time... Ian

Last Update..
It appears I have to uninstall NewBlue before installing the new one. If I don't, V11 and V12 get upset and will not start up. All seems good now... you never stop learning!
Ian.

Vegas takes a lot of "pipes" for the third party stuff being naughty.
