Anyone here doing there own cinema scores? I've added the Garritan Personal Orchestra for the Steinway D sample and the full sounds on the other instruments. I was waiting for the new acid about 2 years ago and got SMS & GPO to do some composing and am amazed at these tools for under $300. Many of the sounds on the PS-5X are good to excellent but most of the sounds in the GPO are excellent and the sounds in SMS are also very, very good in the most part.

Perhaps for me the best part of SMS is the on screen composing with staffs. I start out penciling a quick version on paper and then compose with the key board and the Midi editor in SMS. And I thought editing took a long time but being retired this actually gives me more depth to my video interest.
