[V17.0.284] Bug - while edited nested project VP crash

I have trouble with editing nested project.
When I edited nested project (make some changes in project) and I switched to another app (like web browser or email aplication) and go back to the VP17 have crash.

I sent several Crash Reports.

Can someone confirm this?

Maybe worth a try changing the state of this? ... Options/preferences/general/“close media files when not the active application.” I normally leave it unchecked, I haven’t tested nested yet.

@Former user yes, this is the problem, thank you.
When I change close media files when not active to unchecked this problem is gone.

But I think what this is bug not a feature.

@musko Glad it worked 👍. 🐜, I dunno, I'm guessing that this may arise more frequently with nested timelines, I experienced it first with a fairly large project and maybe not the most powerful pc. It may not so much be a 🕷 as project size and PC capability, just guessing.

Nested timelines probably use a lot of resources.
