V17 crash, now stuck on taskbar?

Long time user of Vegas, with not too many problems. I had started a new project, and was experimenting with picture in picture, and Vegas Pro locked up. (Windows 10 V. 1903). I did a CTRL-ALT-DEL, task manager, and ended Vegas Pro.

Now when I start Vegas Pro, I see the window initializing Vegas Pro, then an icon appears on the taskbar. I cannot RESTORE the window, maximize the window, nothing at this point! I'm only an hour into this project so am willing to delete some files if necessary. This is a NEW install on a new computer running Windows 10

Suggestions?

Thanks

Al

Start Vegas through the Desktop startpic and hold Ctrl-Shift of your keyboard. Choose to "Delete all cached application data".
That resets Vegas to its initial installation.

The solution was somewhat embarassing - the application was showing up on a second monitor. The second monitor was displaying video from a second computer. I optioned the second monitor back to the Vegas computer, and ta-dah(!) there it was!!
