Hope you can spot the difference in these screenshots. Left is the timeline on the ext. monitor, right is the trimmer ( ungraded).
The first time I saw that in the trimmer before I put it on the timeline, my heart skipped a beat as I thought I had shot the whole scene out of focus.
@Mindmatter I'm not sure about this to be honest, my 32" Dell SE3223Q is a good monitor, my 24" is an Acer that's quite a few yrs old, so if I see any difference I put it down to those differences, it's not out of focus on my smaller older monitor tho.. 🤔
What does it look like if you add the clip to the timeline & view the Preview window on the ext monitor?

Forgot to mention I have to have 'Use high DPI scaling' turned on otherwise the image on the ext monitor doesn't fit the screen, it's too big, I don't know if this has anything to do with ..... .
Everything on the timeline displays nice and sharp on the external monitor, the trimmer window on the main monitor also seems Ok. But as soon as the trimmer is displayed on the external, it's messy. It's the first time I run into this issue, I've never seen it before.
This is still an annoying issue. Am I really the only one with this problem? EDIT: I just saw that when I check "show video monitor" in the preview settings, the problem goes almost away - it's still not 100% sharp though. Not really sure what that function is for, I never ever used it. It displays separate frames and a large audio display in the small preview window. In any case, I never experienced this issue in any other previous version.
