Sorry if this has been mentioned somewhere else. The auto preview behaves a bit strange. You have to hold down left mouse to play the clip and if you let go it stops. Also it stops if you move the mouse. Cannot just click the clip and have it play. This is with the trial version. Or maybe this is new in V23 or I am doing it wrong.
In that Project Media window, Try changing the media view to "Details" or something else to see if it still persist.
Steve, thanks for the reply. Changing to details does change the behaviour to work correctly ie one left mouse click plays the clip even if mouse is moved away from the clip. This is with the full registered version as I bought it last night.

@Steve_Rhoden suggestions appears to correct the behavior.
As to why, I believe it's a bug. I'm sure the developers will get to it.
"Auto Preview", is that the Play button in the Project Media at the top??
