V4 and Analog to Digital Converters?

Does anyone have experience with V4 and the ProMax DA-MAX+ Format Media Converter? I'm primarily interested in whether you can output a V4 timeline thru the DA-Max+ to a regular BetaSP deck. The holy grail would be to also have complete control of the BetaSP deck from V4 (thru the converter).

Any help or experiences would be appreciated, thank!

We've used one here and it worked great with our betacam decks, including the device control via RS422 (controlled by DV device commands). The SDI to DV translations looked good as well. I remember there was a 7.5IRE 'setup' issue, but I think it was fixed through the DA+ configuration editor.

Long shot here: I saw a page at PC911 that addresses a problem with accessing certain sites. Maybe it's for you?
