V4 doesn't see my .gif and .png

Hey all,
I can't figure out why V4 doesn't see the .gif nor a .png I just placed in a folder but Windows Explorer does...any ideas? I've already closed my project and reopened.

I don't think reopening the project refreshes the explorer window. Try pressing the F5 key while the explorer window has focus.

The vegas explorer window does not automatically refresh very often. As Kelly said, pressing F5 when the explorer window has the focus should refresh it. Otherwise, just click on the "refresh" button on the explorer window.

I understand Edward, but even after refreshing for some reason Vegas still doesn't see them in it's explorer or import media. I got a feeling I'll feel really stupid when this is resolved but...

EDIT: I saved them out of Outlook Express, it usually adds the extension but not this time...all is well now, thanks for your patience guys.
