V4 upgrade pricing suggestion

Actually this is more of a request than a suggestion. I note that V4's feature list INCLUDES the SoFo Plug-in Pack that normally sells for $140 separately. I own VV3 and later purchased the Plug-in Pack. So: Will SoFo consider a slightly lower price for VV3 upgraders who have also purchased the Plug-in Pack?

V4 isn't out yet and I don't have the plug in pack, but you do have it now, but I have to wait to get it when V4 is released, so since I don't get to use it Now can I get it for less than people who already have it to use Now? Why yes!! I think that's how it works. You bought it. You're using it. I didn't. I'm not.
It's like , Hey! last week you weren't giving free fries with the sandwiches but this week you are, so could I have a discount on my meal since I paid for my fries last week? Sounds logical, right? ....NOT

I own the Vegas Plug-In Pack and the 5.1 Surround Plug-In. I purchased them both in December, just a few weeks before SOFO announced Vegas 4 and DVD Architect.

If I would have known Vegas 4 came with the Vegas Plug-In Pack and that I'd get the 5.1 Surround Plug-In with the Vegas+DVD package, I wouldn't have purchased either at that time. I wouldn't be complaining if I could buy DVD Architect by itself. If that was the case, I'd eat the $139 I paid for the Vegas Plug-In Pack.

Basically, as it stands now, the only way I can get DVD Architect is to purchase Vegas+DVD, which comes with both the Vegas Plug-In Pack and the 5.1 Surround Plug-In. Eating $139 is a whole lot different than eating $418.

However, I do see your point. The only thing I can say is that fries don't cost $139 (like the Vegas Plug-In Pack) or $279 (like the 5.1 Surround Plug-In) or $418 (if you own both).

Having said that, I agree with editor3333... I also hope SOFO takes this into consideration when the upgrade pricing is finalized.
