Yeah $499, for some thing Sony could/should have built in to Vegas .... sorry just a little bitter about the whole HD thing.

The ConnectHD allows you to connect Vegas to a DVHS and some other HD devices, Vegas does not support the DVHS format i.e. mpeg-ts format.
