so..what your saying is ..its almost like censoring a little part right?

well...this is what i do to make it...

1. make an orginal track of the video...just like the regular video you edit.

2. make a new layer of the same video clip on top of the clip.

3. make another layer with the same clip...time them all together.

4. then apply the pixelate fx to the very top clip...make sure its the top layer.

5. make a mask with the two clips so the first and second layers are in a mask.

6. apply cookie cutter to the clip with the pixel fx on it. You can make it a circle then key frame it with the person's head.

7. also dont forget to enlarge the top video clip a little bit so you can really make out the person's features that much...

if your still lost..i have a veg file ill post some where...if some body can find me a good site to upload zip files please tell me...then ill upload the file.

Wow, you guys are great! I love this forum.

I'm working on my daughter's First Year Video and I need to pixelate some of the birth video. This told me everything I need to know.

Thanks for the help.
