V5 record crackles with envs live

Athlon 2600+, XPHome, 512MB, 80GB ATA100, V5.0a(134)

Playing back 5 tracks, recording one. Minimal plugs.

If I have any tracks with envelopes (vol or pan) enabled, I hear clicks and pops intermittantly, and these are also present in the recorded track.

Have tried all tricks with video accel and MOTU buffers - no change.

And of course when I loaded my current project, it autosaved itself in V5 veggie format, and auto .baked over hte top of the V4 one too, so I can't open it in V4.

Is this associated with the grainy envelope prob, or just something else unique to me ?

Nobody else getting this ?

Have established it's nowt to do with envelopes or plugins. SoSoFo are onto it, more in the next few days I suspect.

Yeah I see a lot of problems, but it always seems like other people see the same ones eventually.

Im really starting to think that Im not nuts, my system isnt screwed up, and the only difference between my experience and others' is that I just see the trouble earlier.
