V5 render video-clip.

Hello everybody.

I'm having the following problem with V5.

I have a clip 45mins longer, it's compressed Mpg2 video-format and the Audu format is 44.100khz. (I divided the video in 6 peaces). The render process on V5 goes great, but when I open the clip on Windows Media Player and play it, most of the time the video goes slow and the audio doesn't match the video.

I render the proyect in Divx 5.

Thank for your time.

If you rendered in DivX 5, how is it that you rendered in MPEG? Or you rendered the MPEG from DivX 5 avi? Or you rendered the DivX 5 FROM mpeg? If it's the latter, expect it to be out of sync. Vegas isn't a good MPEG editor.

Hello.

1) I first captured the video-clip on MPEG2 format, with my capturer adapter.
2) After I get all videos-clips, I put on V5 and render it to DIVX5 avi.

I always capture in MPEG2 video-format because it's smaller than AVI video-files.

I have: Amd Athlon 1.1 ghz, 512 DD-RAM, Ati capturer adapter, 30gb Hd.

Does the video play in sync or out of sync on the timeline when you preview it? If it's out of sync there you can adjust the sync to match before rendering it.

However, considering the problems with Vegas using MPEG files and with ATI's capturing of MPEG files, i would suggest that you capture in AVI instead. It's worth the extra drive space and you get a lot less problems.

It plays in sync with the timeline.

I will use AVI format.
