V5 wont save video-ouput setrting

when capturing video,vide capture proprerties always defaults to
320x240...even though (default) its supossed to be320x480
why is this?

What were you capturing from?

If you're capturing from standard DV, you should get 720x576 PAL or 720 x 480 NTSC.

What project settings did you have?

Mine defaults to 320x240 and that is what it captures at unless I change it.
I have an ATI 9600xt so I can capture at 720x480 without dropping frames, but yours may not.
