V6 Bug: Can't view Red3 MC DV AVI files, Ext

Just another kind of file that Vegas 6 can no longer view on an external monitor:

If you render AVI files from Boris Red 3GL using the (purchased seperately) Main Concept DV codec, Vegas will not show the file's output on an external monitor.

I *sure* hope a fix is underway for this. Not being able to view SteadyHand files and now, Boris Red files on an external monitor is really getting old. The SteadyHand issue was identified some time ago.

Of course, Vegas 4 and 5 show them just fine...

Sorry to hear that. As A Red user myself, more bugs b/t the 2 is really too much. The only way I've ever been satisfied with renders (or gotten them to open if they're longer than a minute or so) from red is to do uncompressed quicktime animation. Have you tried that?

Add an effect or change the opacity to 99% and see what happens.
